Maintenance Professional of the Year

Eligibility

Any maintenance vice president, manager, director, supervisor or foreman who is directly involved with the supervision and/or mechanics and bottom-line ship efficiencies is eligible. The individual must be employed as an employee of a for-hire or private trucking company who is a member in good standing with the California Trucking Association (CTA). Previous Excellence in Maintenance recipients are not eligible to be nominated again.

Judging

At the discretion of the selection committee, two awards may be designated. If the judges determine that a presentation should be made to a small fleet maintenance supervisor (less than 500 pieces of equipment) AND to a large fleet maintenance supervisor (more than 500 pieces of equipment), the committee is empowered to select a “Small Fleet” and a “Large Fleet” winner.

Presentation

This prestigious award is presented at CTA’s Fleet Safety Annual Awards Banquet.
