Charlie Giles was the Founder and owner
of Mountain Valley Express which began operations in March of 1976. He was a hands-on owner and got behind the wheel of the truck
whenever needed. He believed in hard work and honesty with Safety as a top priority in his business. Charlie always left a lasting impression
of Safe trucking with all of those that crossed his path.
There were many comparisons to Charlie's life and this award. Charlie overcame
many obstacles and he improved every day, in personal and professional areas. This Most Improved Fleet Award epitomizes his life and those
challenges. Any recipient can know that they have overcome many trials to be named Most Improved.
May his everlasting legacy live on in our
heart throughout the trucking industry.
