Joined by staff members and volunteers, over 200 bikers, walkers, and families were able to gain information on road safety, explore the inside of the truck, and take photos. During the event, CTA posted a short video clip online showcasing the no zone trailer moving through Embarcadero. As a result, the post received CTA’s largest interaction on Facebook since activating a social media account which included:
· 406 likes, comments & shares,
· 7,333 views,
· and 42,368 reaches.
Since 2013, members of CTA have been an influential voice in leading this program by utilizing the road to communicate and increase safety information about the industry. In an effort to keep educating the public, we hope to continue executing the most strategic approaches through the Public Relations and Image Committee.
