State of the Industry Address
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
ATA’s efforts to unify and strengthen have raised the industry group’s profile and resulted in important victories for trucking. In addition to reviewing this past year’s victories this presentation will address the policies that the Association will continue to advocate for that produce measurable benefits to our industry, our customers and the general public, specifically calling out federal preemption of state-level meal and rest break rules, the coming implementation of the electronic logging device mandate, and the new leadership role ATA will take in addressing a persistent issue in trucking: the driver shortage.
